To answer some questions:

She lives a hippie-ish lifestyle, but if you just looked at her you might not guess it. She doesn't "dress" it.

As for looks, her body is probably a 7, face a 3 or 4 at best.

I really don't want her staying even for a full week but I have no idea where she could go for temporary housing. It's also worth noting that she's pretty good friends with my other roommate. Unfortunately, he's the kind of guy that has tons of friends like this because he's overly generous and people walk all over him.

I think generalizing all hippie girls into that eco-self-serving-crazy-lazy-bum type is wrong. Granted that is probably what 90% of 2+2 thinks of when you say 'hippie chick', but I think it is a gross exaggeration. Personally, I don't like hippies like that, preaching one thing, doing another, just 'getting by' which in laymens terms means 'bumming off friends, not buying anything, and looking for a free ride'.

However, I do know plenty of hippie girls that can hold down a decent job, are extremely cool, are ridiculous in bed, and never bum off of anybody. Also, hygene is important to these girls. IMO, you can't beat a cool hippie chick who is actually down to earth w/ the real world.

OP, I think it would be a [censored] thing to not let her crash on your couch until she gets her [censored] together. Are you really going to tell your roommate that he has to tell his friend to find a shelter or a box somewhere? I'm not saying a long time, and she should pay for it once she gets everything settled, but I think not giving her a chance is selfish.

That's exactly the problem I'm having. I really don't want to kick her out to live on the street for a week, but I also don't want to come home to seeing her sleeping on the couch all day long.

Additionally, we have 2 other roommates who just moved in to our house (one week ago), and I'd rather not force them to deal with this situation.

This girl also has a huge track record for doing [censored] up things. She constantly just up and leaves for another state (often while in a relationship), will disappear for days on end, does a ton of drugs, etc. I really don't want her around the house.

Don't do it. We had a guy crash in our back bedroom for 'two weeks' which turned into two months. I finally just had to kick him out.
