Re: Bellagio 30/60 fun T7s hand
[ QUOTE ]
Am I the only one questioning playing that hand to a raise, with only one other person in the pot, and out of position? I'm just beginning to move up to the 9/18 and this play seems a little strange to me. What am i missing? [/ QUOTE ] i don't know you, but based on what you said about just moving up, i think you and other players like you should fold in this spot. that is not meant as a dig on you at all so please don't interpret that way, it's just that playing this hand OOP is going to be very tough, so i don't think simply passing is bad at all. there is no shame in folding hands that may have a slightly positive expectation if you are not comforatble playing those hands. i know that when i was moving up i would have mucked this without a second thought and just moved on. that said, i think Justin can play the hand profitably here. |

[ QUOTE ] Pretty good game. Button in this hand is a bit overaggro preflop with his open raises, but seems straightforward and maybe a bit tight postflop. He seems to be a thinking player. Folded to button who raises, I call in the SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Gonores folds in the BB. Flop is K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I checkraise, button calls. Turn is the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet, button raises, and I 3bet without much hesitation. You likey? [/ QUOTE ] i dont think he is ever folding an ace, so i'm not nuts about it. EDIT: Also, if he can read hands at all, he knows you don't have a big ace, 2-pair or a set. [/ QUOTE ] I don't think he's going to know my play well enough to know that. |

Re: Bellagio 30/60 fun T7s hand
[ QUOTE ]
It's a little loose, but also remember it's a 2/3 blind structure, and the button is raising way too many hands, so I'm very rarely in trouble. [/ QUOTE ] I would not call 60% of the time or better, "rarely". |

(i know a guy who would consider 3betting this thing preflop.) imo one of the more compelling reasons to dump this preflop is not the hand, but the fact that doug is in the bb. |

doug calls in the bb too much. that's more reason to play it, but i know what youre saying. |

I could have 33. |
