Only a 1 TD comeback. But it was the most exciting ending I've ever seen:

The best comback I have seen for a single game was in last year's NCAA lacrosse tournament. UMass trailed Hofstra 10-5 with 8:03 left. They rallied to come back from five gaols down and win in overtime 11-10. It was really amazong to watch.

-Week 6 MNF Bears vs. Cards Crown Their Asses

- Duke-Maryland 2001 basketball-Maryland lead by 10 with 54 seconds left. Duke comes back to win behind 2 Jason Williams 3 pointers.

-Little known, but a personal favorite. Towards the end of the '89 season, The eventual pennant winning Cubs trailed the Astros 9-0 in the bottom of the 6th at Wrigley. Cubs end up winning 10-9 in 10 innings.

Not saying it's the best, but that bottom of the 9th 4-HR comeback for LAD vs... SD(?) last year was pretty sick, especially with two off of Hoffman, and Nomar winning it with a 2-runner in the 10th.

How is this not the answer?

This was the stolen base and then the Meuller hit to TIE the game. Then this in the 11th:

Anything else is this thread is just silly. Even "single game" type comments cannot beat games 4&5 of the ALCS-2004, 11 innings and 14 innings respectively, given the gravity of the situation. This is beyond the overall series comeback. Toss in Schillng's bloodly sox in Game 6, Lowe's start in Game 7 on short rest with Damon's HRs and we know this is the comeback of all time.

Thread over.

Well a hockey one I remember for everyone, involving my favorite player of all time, Felix Potvin.

2000-2001 NHL season, Red Wings against the Kings in the first round of the playoffs. The Wings were the 2nd seed, and the Kings were the 7th, and after the Red Wings dominated the first two games in Detroit, I was just hoping there wouldn't be a sweep. Then game three, this happened.

Youtube link.

One of the coolest games I remember watching. Kings went on to lose to Bourque and the Avalanche in the next round, but that game was unbelievable.
