I think adding one table/reducing one table at a time is the best way forward. Just have one stack of 25, one of 50.

so for bankroll/no of nl25 tables/on of nl50 tables

1K or less/12/0
1000-1050/11/1
1050-1100/10/2
1100-1150/9/3
all the way to
1600+/0/12

so at br 1600, you are then on 12 nl50 tables.

At 2K, rinse-repeat for nl100

Id rather have my tables be the same level, and also i really want to jump into 50 nl totally ASAP. I was just worried about a sick bad run cause its way harder. So far its been roughyl the same difficulty and i have gotten my roll to a safe place (1100) to keep playing, so ill stick to that. Although for 100 NL i probably will try a slower pace. Im hoping to hit 100 NL within a couple of weeks.

Exactly.

And I'd only propose moving up to nl100 at 2K if you one table or you do it staggered as I suggest, or you are really rigorous about moving down to nl50 as soon as you hit 1800.

This is a great discussion. Bankroll has so much to do with comfort and being able to play "your game." I just made the jump completely from 25 to 50nl. At first, it was hard to stomach the "double $$$ swings." I'd let my stack get down to 30 and lower before rebuying (at 25nl I'd keep it at 25 religiously!). But now, I'm finally comfortable enough with the game to play fully stacked all the time on 5 tables.

I've never tried mixing table limits in one session before. I think I'd get confused.

As far as differences between 25 and 50, I think the biggest difference is an increase in well timed aggression at 50nl. People push their good hands hard and their great hands harder. My biggest leak has been my TPTK seeing big raises and calling. Ugh. Stackville.

When I moved, I didn't mind a bit about the bigger pots. It was the 15k (and running) breakeven run that killed my spirit. Ah well.. grind grind..
