I guess I am a huge exception to your rule. I started playing at FTP last October. I signed up through a rakeback affiliate. I cleared all of my $600 bonus by December. I continued playing regularly at FTP, qualifying as either Silver-level or Gold-level in the Iron Man competition each month. Around February-March timeframe I was offered a $100 "no-deposit" bonus. I cleared that in two weeks. I continued to play regularly and qualified for Iron Man each month...in July I even managed to qualify at the Iron-level. Last night I received the 50% deposit bonus offer. I guess I'm just lucky.

Both my wife and I got this offer. I'm sure this has to do with their inability to keep the site up. They are trying to lure players back.

Like maybe a way to get players that had money locked up to deposit that money into FT? Interesting idea.

Both bonuses I have received from FTP in the past have been released in $20 increments, so I have no reason to believe this one won't be released in $20 increments as well.

Also, to help you figure out how much to deposit/how much bonus to play for, use the following formula:

Amount of deposit X .5 = Amount of bonus
Amount of bonus/.06 = Number of FTP points you will need to earn to clear bonus
Number of FTP points needed/45 = Number of FTP points you need to earn per day to clear bonus

Compare the number of FTP points per day required to clear your bonus amount with your "normal" number of FTP points you earn per day and decide accordingly as to how large a bonus you can reasonably play for.

For instance, to clear the full $500 bonus will require you to earn an average of 185 FTP points per day over the 45 day period, whereas a $300 bonus will only require you to earn an average of 111 FTP points per day.

I was silver for june and july and still got it.

So is this math correct.
$500.00 reload = $250 bonus dollars to clear.
250.00 of mgr x .27= $67.50 taken out of rakeback
So profit from this would be $182.50 if you have rakeback?

[/ QUOTE ]

Your MGR will be charged something for making the deposit also.
