Re: Biggest Waste of Talent in Sports History?
[ QUOTE ]
Ricky Williams, Rich Harden, and Mark Prior are about 100 levels DOWN on the talent meter from guys like Strawberry and Gooden. Two different classes IMO. [/ QUOTE ] LOL, How is Ricky not elite? |

Re: Biggest Waste of Talent in Sports History?
Most of the players nominated so far had notable professional success. How could you possibly nominate Tyson? He reached the pinacle of his sport.
Len Bias is a good option. Brien Taylor is worth considering in baseball. |

I'm not sure how any of this qualifies him as either elite, or a waste of talent. |

He lead the league in rushing with the dolphins horrible O-line and terrible qb/passing game. Then he proceeded to throw it all away cause he couldn't pass a drug test. |

Re: Biggest Waste of Talent in Sports History?
yeah but grant hill was actually an elite player for a while. Vince literally has wasted all his abilities.
sloth, As tragic as Reggie's death was, he wasn't in the same league as Len Bias. |
