For Nashville (and all of Tennessee) they pick Tootsie's? [censored] Tootsie's? It is a honky-tonk piece of crap. I declare this list retarded.

I saw that too. In my 4 years in Nashville, I made it a point NOT to go there.

Angel's Share is fantastic -- very classy, and the bartenders are real professionals. Getting there is is a pretty surreal experience; you go into a pretty cheesy Japanese restaurant, up to the second floor, and through a practically unmarked door, and it's like you're in a different world. Recommended if you're in NYC with a date or a small group.

Jimmy's Corner is a good dive bar in a part of Manhattan that's overrun with touristy, chain places. After the late, great McHale's, my favorite Midtown dive.

McGovern's in Newark is also the real deal -- a genuine cop/lawyer beer and shot bar right in downtown. Great place to be on St. Patrick's Day. Also a hangout for federal judges from the courthouse nearby.

I've been to the Hawk & Dove a couple of times and it wasn't terrible, but I wasn't really impressed. Probably two or three better places within a few blocks.

I'm not sure how they can include the Chart Room in New Orleans and omit the famous Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop.
Oldest building in New Orleans and possibly in the whole region.

I'm also particularly fond of Molly's on the Market on Decatur.

Brewer's Art, definitely a solid choice for B-more.

Antarctica, wtf? 12 frozen nerds and I bet that place is crawling with hot chics.
