Re: OSU at Penn State
My Turn I'm with you on this. I love OSU here (-4). Their D is too tough and PSU from what I've seen against the Michan D could do nothing offensively. Offensively Beckman is the perfect QB when givin the time as he always is against big 10 pass rushes. Last week was a give away and anyone who follows OSU closely knew the game against MSU was going to be a lot closer than the 17 pts they were giving.
Mid- Season arrest Report: (Just the Highlights) OSU: backup QB picked up for soliciting a $20 BJ PSU: Running Back arrested for rape. 80 year old head coach accused of road rage. Edge: PSU Disclaimer: I'm an OSU fan, although rarely bet them. |

Re: OSU at Penn State
whoa...I didn't say I was betting tOSU
depending on how I feel after evaluating injuries, I'm leaning Penn St Computers will overrate a team that hasn't played a challenging schedule 4-8 games into the year. There hasn't been teams to truly ground the Buckeyes ranking. The before the year predictions are better in this instance IMO as they show Penn St is right about where everyone thought they would be after enough contests to ground their ranking and Ohio St is 8-0 and unknown which is what quite a few expected. This is the same phenomena that leads to all sorts of dogs covering spreads in week 5 and 6 as previously undefeated teams that played all their games at home get tested. To further highlight the point--look at NCAAB computer rankings after 10-11 games, you'll see some real odd stuff compared to the way they'll end up the year. Now, football games have a higher signaling value than basketball, but the difference isn't that much. |

[/ QUOTE ] They might be true, but do you think Penn St is that team? Penn St. got a lot of help last week from a turnover happy Indiana quarterback, and they have lost to Michigan and Illinois, teams that don't look as strong as Ohio St. Granted, the Nittany Lions have looked much different at home than on the road. |

Re: OSU at Penn State
yeah...Penn St is who we think they are...they are about 20-25 in the country and everything they've done this year points toward that
this is much better than any other team the Buckeyes have played not sure why there is all the hate for Penn St close losses at Michigan and at Illinois are not the ugliest thing to have on a resume |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I guess you people realize why we call it tOSU now. Not sure if he is intentionally doing it or is ignorant. [/ QUOTE ] I am sure he's not ignorant. Also, you are wrong: we people do not understand why you don't just call it OSU. [/ QUOTE ] Now why would you call Ohio, Oregon? [/ QUOTE ] I wouldn't, because Oregon State is laid-back enough not to freak out that I might ever confuse them with THE Ohio State University. I think the other OSUs should add random things to the start of their names, like SIR Oregon State University and REVEREND Oklahoma State University. In fact, I will use sOSU and rOSU from now on. |

osu by >= 14.
if, by some fluke (aka officials), PeeU wins, it's worth a few dimes to avoid another osu collapse in the championship game. tlt |

PSU has lost once at home in the last 19 games (since '05)...it's not exactly an easy place to play and you're fooling yourself if you think this line is off by 11 points. - C - |
