If you insist on sitting against me I will continue to play the strategy which maximises my EV.

There should be a thread about that instead, if it should be allowed. Its funny though you realize you are such a fish that you have to stall every hand and get up to 50 100 to have a chance beating me. Playing poker instead isnt fun huh? Lottery ftw.

I have mailed the stars support and they claimed they will take some kind of action against this as this is not what the time bank is intended for. Finally, play like a man.

We can add liar to your long list of faults I see.

Of course Stars won't take "some sort of action against this". There have been several threads on 2+2 where players have complained against stallers and Stars have consistently replied that players can use their time bank any way they see fit.

Well, your attitude withstanding, I 100% agree with you Othello.

Nothing frustrates me more than having to wait for the players to make a decision when they are playing me. I have analyzed the later levels for this purpose, so I don't care if they think they are building some sort of edge against me. They are diminishing my edge, but they aren't beating me.

I don't comprehend why so many players feel like they should only play people that they have a large edge against. I am game to take on all opponents. I don't care if it's a drunken retard or Barry Greenstein. My goal is to become the best I can possibly be at this game, and running over idiots at the 11s is not going to prepare me to beat up on the 5000s. If I have to play a tough opponent once every ten games or so, then so be it. Part of placing my money on the table accepting all challenges at all costs, win or lose.

I have played against players who are equal/ better than me. With some of them, we talked about what we were doing and why. We can all learn from each other, even with a bit of trash talking.

With the players pools so large, there is no reason to worry about playing the same opponents over and over again. I doubt that by randomly sitting at tables, I am playing against the same player more than once every two weeks.

The really funny thing is Shahin really hasn't got any edge against me anyway.

His total profit, ROI and average profit are all considerably smaller than mine. The only players who I think are flat out better than me are Iftarii, Genius and BBJ. I wouldn't like playing Thephenom, thepabloshow and jasonmac either.

I play poker for fun and I detest playing an arrogant, trash talking and rude little punk like him.

Hey Camel. Are these all players at Tilt? I don't play there too often. I did notice that seat selection seems easier there than Stars, as they seem to have 2 or 3 tables open at a time and the screen name in the lobby box, where at Stars, there is one table that pops up, and there is no time to see who is sitting there, since you would have to open the lobby, and then sign in.

But, yes, I agree with you, that calling your opponent "idiot," "donkey," or whatever is a demonstration of the lowest form of life. If people said the things they say in chat to me in a real casino, there would be plenty of camera evidence of why they had a broken nose.

No Dave, it's at Stars.. at the 550+20 level the games don't nearly as quickly.

Oh, well, please don't sit with me, as I swim at the 11s. I have looked at the 550s, not much movement there.

Im actually 100% OK with the way things are, I do ask ppl not to sit with me even when I consider myself better than them. At the 220s why would I want to play the upper 10% of the skill level players when I could play the middle skilled or bottom players? I respect when ppl sit bc they 'want a challenge' or whatever I ask once if they dont want to respect that its fine.

On the issue of stalling, I think Othello is completely justified in sitting with you Camel but you are also completely justified in stalling him. Your both operating within the rules (and yes Stars does allow stalling) so its all fair. Obviously Othello's actions are costing you both money but I get the impression he plays for a lot of ego based reasons anyways so its probably not going to change.

Wow, if you really think you have more than a breakeven edge against Camel you should go sit in some 2200s or something, I see worse players in there a fair amount of time.
