that was a nice play with aces, where you just called from the BB.. is that kind of "standard" or just something new? i can see why you'd do it to disguise your hand of course.

My initial reaction was that the 10/20 would become substantially softer and that the 5/10 would become slightly softer, but after giving it some thought, I'm not so sure... The new game will probably bring a lot of good players back to the site. However, I cannot imagine that the player pool will be large enough to fill a bunch of 25/50 tables (the 10/20 is barely staying afloat, IMHO), so the result might be that the good players play 2 tables of 25/50 and 2-4 tables of 10/20. Additionally, as someone mentioned, the people who want to "take shots" will now be more inclined to do so at 25/50. These two factors might dry up the 10/20 even more than it already is. Even farther downstream, that might lead to mediocre 10/20 players having to choose between moving up or moving down, which might end up making the 5/10 slightly tougher (although, the 5/10 will likely get softer overall, as it will no longer suffer from the "second-highest game" phenomenon).

I might be overthinking this too much, but I'm at work right now and can't concentrate...
