Stars Checks Hard to Cash?

I am still trying to figure out what was "hard" in the OP.
Seems he presented his check, the teller did some things, and a few minutes later he got his money.

Usually it takes a minute or two to cash a check at a bank, not including any line. It took a good 15-20 minutes until it was ok with this check. Next time I'm using the ATM for these checks.

Use the night deposit box if your bank has one. It is quicker than the ATM. When Stars used to send me the checks I requested the money would be in my account the next morning.

Then don't freak out if the teller looks at you funny, all those checks pictured are phoney counterfeits from Nigeria.
Which goes to show you, the banks don't give a rip about poker sites, they are just concerned with getting stuck with bad checks.

I thought that all three of those above look pretty fake. However the check that I got from PS looked fine. Getting stuck with bad checks is overrated

That middle one wasn't a very good fake - I mean 'Intergrated Payment Systems Inc' isn't too believable, a company with a spelling mistake in their name !

I like how WashIngton Mutual Bank is spelt in that one too... lol.... and the amper-sign (&amp in middle of the dollar amount too... lol there are errors all over that check.

I have a real check that looks like the third one.

I know it's real because nobody would fake a cashier's check for $0,000,003.00. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
