Default Keg question

I got a keg that we're trying to get into, and all that comes out is water. The top is like a weird corkscrew thing. Is there such a thing as a keg with just water in it? We can't really get the top off so the water is just trickling out so there might be another compartment in there with the beer. Any help?

There's no seperate compartment. Sounds like you got a keg full of water.

Corkscrew top?

It's not a typical top. A tap won't work. There was a wing nut (not corkscrew which i said in op) type thing that we got off, but then there's a screw that's still in there that comes out almost all the way and when it's out, a little bit of water just duibbles out.

Please post a picture of this "keg". Also, do you have access to a lathe? That would help.

You have the wrong type of tap for the keg. Call the store.

I don't think they make taps for kids who buy kegs full of water.
