nh. the flop is the only question for me, but you answered it. these guys probably play lots of PP's and aces just like this shorthanded pf. also, on the river they payoff on boards like this with just about any PP you can imagine, maybe even 22 or Ahigh.

[/ QUOTE ] I hear you, but the 10 to 1 is attractive enough to justify this call, especially against the types who'll 3 bet anything playable to maintain control of the hand. In a three handed game a player with that sort of mentality may be 3 betting a hand weaker than JT. I like your valuation of the outs at about 4, but that still offers a decent enough price. Not closing the action may be the biggest consideration in folding here and the general aggressiveness of the SB would be a big factor. Overs/redraws just mean we'll have to make poker decisions on the end. I support your thesis, but don't think a caller can be criticized here. |
