Ok, so just looked at the bonus forum. I assume the Steelers won? Were they not supposed to, are they terrible or something? Meh, I do love free money but I thought this was juicier the way everybody was losing their minds. I could still be missing something. If the Steelers are terrible and they only have a 1 in 15 chance to win I don't really like this bet. Then again, I know nothing about football. Yes, I know, i'm not a man.
Edit: Obviously I read the MANSION letter incorrectly, probably because it seems so ridiculous. This was a very strange promotion.

I am so pissed at myself. I have the money to fund the accounts and make the bet just sitting in Neteller and I was to goddman lazy to open an account for every relative I have.
BTW Chump, the Steelers were the best team in football last year.

Yes, it was a completely risk free shot at $1k. If you wanted to hedge at another book, you could have locked up $450-500 in rish-free, guaranteed money. All, I just cashed out my $1k win. I think I'll go buy a nice bottle of scotch now. Free money is pretty sweet.

So, is this topic extensively covered in the bonus forum, as to what Mansion could possibly gain from this? Was it strictly a publicity stunt so that people could catch wind and then possibly place bets after already having money there? One of the more bizarre promotions i've heard of.
