I think you have to bet here, but you're not really repping anything by just calling the flop.. I mean, what do you play like this? [/ QUOTE ] i would probably play KT-JT like this. is this spew? |

Okay, yeah, you're right. I guess I just don't call pre with those hands.. but it's okay, people play preflop differently.

If you 3 bet flop and villain repops or pushes its likely your waaay behind already to a set (unlikely) or overpair. If this is the case then your outs are definately not all clean.
I think best line is floating and seeing the turn. |

On the flop, I'd raise.
As played against this villain, I bet to take it down because he obviously has given up on the pot. Against an aggressive-more-creative villain, I'd check behind. |

We raise to fold out his air hands or to get him to slow down with top pair.. not to get allin here. |

This whole thread is pointless without more information on the villain.
Preflop I would 3bet if villain opened a bit too loosely from EP and folded often to my 3bets (plenty of regs fit this bill). Calling is okay too. I don't think KQo is very far ahead of his range really though when he's 13% PFR and opens from up front. On the flop, it depends on the villain again. I strongly disagree that most multitabling regs won't fire 2 shells often. If he's a double barreler, bluff raising the flop is better. If he's a one and done kinda guy, then obv float him. If he's pretty nitty and straightforward, probably just folding isn't bad. |

yeah but if you float too often he's going to double barrel/check raise/snap you off some too. Adjust and readjust etc. Thats why I can't rlly say how often I raise call/fold I have no idea. [/ QUOTE ] Then don't float so much!? Players that get into trouble are the ones who float EVERY [censored] flop, rather than just ones like this one where we have some equity (actually this one has more equity than I usually need, but still). Also: If you call here and hit a K on the turn, you probably have the best hand. If you raise here, and he calls, and you hit a K, you are probably getting stacked. |

I think you have to bet here, but you're not really repping anything by just calling the flop.. I mean, what do you play like this? I bet 28 just out of principle, but the 2c didn't change anything so you're only getting him to fold air. I guess it depends on villain's cbet percentage whether or not I bet here. If we would've raised the flop this would be an easy check behind fwiw. [/ QUOTE ] On such a dry flop, I could easily have a set or 2 pair here. Also, I'd probably bet any T for value in this spot. |
