Captain and Coke was invented for dudes like you.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is the obvious one- it's like candy.

Just tell your barkeep buddy to mix you a normal drink, not a shot with coke for color.

Also, sounds like vodka is OK for you. Maybe try a little better grade - try some Ketel One or Stoly's - they have less bite and are a little more drinkable.

Mojitos are very good and if you are not in Cuba or North Havana (Miami) are very gay. White Russians are cool to sip on and not get slammed.

Start drinking scotch or whiskey and coke. Maybe move up to woodford or knob creek instead of jack?

xxxnoahxxx's suggestion sounds appealing. Is a mojito any good, and is it gay?

[/ QUOTE ]
I was, ah, I was very pleased and surprised... I, I really was not expecting an open bar. Top shelf booze I tell ya.
And this guy knew his stuff, made me a Mojito..... I don't think it's a gay drink. Mooojitooo.

White Russian FTW.

actually this is a very different drink and it is considered somewhat cool in most young people circles i'd guess. the only problem is that all that milk/cream will fill you up if you plan to really booze it up.

white russians taste really good though.

Sober,

the main thing you need to realize is cool is unimportant when it comes to drinking. If you happen to like Sour Apple Martinis, then by all means, drink the things. Who gives a damn if a drink is considered cool or not?

Red Bull & Vodka (if you can get it, most places will also offer the Sugar-Free Red Bull & Vodka)

Gin & Tonic: Standard

This needed to be said. OP, drinking what you want to drink and not giving a [censored] what other people think is cool. Anybody who judges you based on what you drink is not cool. Hell, you never used to drink before, you didn't drink until well AFTER you're 21st birthday. If you don't want to drink alcohol, don't drink alcohol. But certainly don't do it because it's cool or because everybody else does.

Now that is cool. Not trying to be cool.
