Ok I understand all of the last 4 responses, but someone justify this:

Calling into the PF raiser when they bet the pot size and you have Q high on the flop (at best, you can say gutshot). Who calls $85 for a gutshot INTO the pf raiser, where is he priced in with Q high, non-suited, and a 10 kicker?

As we said he has implied odds, and alot of outs. He could be ahead already if you have AK on the turn. Face it, he isn't releasing his hand. Plus, you could have been barreling with AK, which puts him ahead. You may also have pocket tens for a gutshot, but remember, he has a the nut gutshot draw and an overcard, which he hit. If you did happen to have an overpair though, he has his array of backdoor draws to fall back on.

What about this is so hard to understand?

I see all the reasons to call for the turn, but I guess I'm just upset because there IS no reason to justify his call on the turn. Then obv my bet on the turn was protecting an overpair or a set... but at that point that is where is implied odds kick in.

No real way to play this better, he just got lucky, thought he was good, and caught. Still a HORRIBLE call on the flop tho.
