I can either minimize them so they can all fit on the screen or I can keep them at reg size and stagger them around or kind of cascade them at different parts of my screen and they will pop-up when it's my action.

I can keep bringing to the front any table with a hand that I'm actually in to watch the action when it's not on me and timing-tells, etc.
It's not like I need the table up the whole time to be able to fold 83o in the cut-off.

8 tables is easy.
12 tables gets pretty hectic sometimes depending on the action and how many of them are playing short-handed.

When I first started playing I thought one table was pretty hectic. Although my VP would have been somewhere near 100% so that could partly explain it also.

When I found out that some people played 2 at once I thought, "WTF?"
I tried 2 and it was pretty crazy at first.
Then I was heads-up in 2 SNG's at the same time and won them both.
I had to concentrate really hard to keep up but I was somehow able to pull it off.

you just get faster and faster as more of your plays become automatic.

I began multitabling this summer and had a hard time at first. Two was ok, but 3 started to wind me up, and 4 totally stressed me out. Now, after a couple of months, I'm totally comfortable with 4 and actually would like to add more. My profits have gone way up too. I think I actually play better when I'm playing more tables, because sometimes when I play 1, I start to get a little too creative for NL50 and get frustrated when i can't get a guy to lay down his weak Ace. I don't think I'll ever 12 table, but 6 is probably reasonable.

Like the others said, It just takes practice. I struggled at first with 3, but then moved onto 4 and that was a breeze. Then I moved onto playing 6 at a time in a "no sleep till even episode". Ever since then Ive been able to play 6 no problem. I think I could add another table, but I really need another monitor .

One thing you might try doing is preventing your tables from stealing focus from your other. Its really difficult to bet/take notes when tables keep popping up constantly. A guy at one of my earlier tables mentioned the focus stealing made it harder for him to play 3 tables. He was grateful when I told him how to get rid of it .

And how do you view them all. One big screen.. etc.

Cascade em on my 17" laptop screen. Once you get used to it, it's doable.

How do you turn off foucus stealing???

I was also wondering how you guys that play 12 tables can keep up with players stats on poker tracker and take notes. If you had a game time screen for each table that would be 12 more windows

The poker room I play at has it built in to their tables to prevent focus stealing. If your website doesn't have that implemented theres other ways of stopping it.

Heres the script that should prevent it.

http://overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/KeyboardRedirect

I have never used this script, and Im not very knowledgeable about them, but you should be able to figure everything out from the site.
