Kaj with a reading comprehension problem, messed up but fully expected.

OP: Why can't Clinton try harder to address poverty in America.
Last Post: We should take care of Americans first, before we worry about Africa.

Not the slightest bit of inconsistency, even though I disagree with him.

5) Why can't guys like Bill Clinton Launch an American Anti Poverty Campaign.

[/ QUOTE ]

Because we don't need one. Most of the world would kill to have what we consider the threshold of poverty.

[/ QUOTE ]

So it's ok for America to have ppl who freeze to death, starve to death, stink, can't afford to live.... It's ok as long as we have less starving than Africa ????????????

That's messed up.

[/ QUOTE ]

Weren't you just criticizing Clinton in your OP for addressing Latin American poverty?

So, let's recap your 2 posts:

-- It is messed up to not worry about American poverty just because 3rd world is worse.

-- It is outrageous to worry about 3rd world poverty so long as any Americans are poor, albeit less poor.

Now, THAT'S messed up. (But hardly surprising.)

[/ QUOTE ]

1) I don't care about Latin America.

2) I don't care how many starving women and children die in Latin America

3) I don't care about Africa or the Starving in Africa

4) I pretty much don' t care about any one elses complaints anywhere in the world until America takes care of their own better.

5) Once every american who WANT'S TO WORK has a job and a place to call home then i'm all for sending 100 trillion TV dinners overseas.

And not only do you NOT care about the rest of the world, you apparently hate that not everyone shares your view. Like I said, THAT'S messed up.

Why doesn't govman work to fight poverty in America if he's so appalled by it? Why does he insist that people like Clinton, who may not share his views, do it for him?

Even when youre caught with gross lack of reading comprehension you don't give up. I suppose thats considered admirable on some political boards in some misguided way.

Gross lack of reading comprehension? LOL.

To this characterization: "It is outrageous to worry about 3rd world poverty so long as any Americans are poor, albeit less poor.", his response was:

1) I don't care about Latin America.

2) I don't care how many starving women and children die in Latin America

Yeah, I really mischaracterized him! Thanks for pointing that out!

Obv the only guy in america who ever froze to death was the goofy looking guy from "Scrooged"

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry but the only guy who ever froze to death in the US is beyond an imbecile. There is no word in the english language for this depth of idiocy.

I feel bad but I have done my part. You cannot help the helpless and sometimes we are better off without them.

This has been done for years. I disagree with you about the TV dinners though. We could use those here.
