Re: TT - Argh!

Against an unknown I would probably fold PF. [/ QUOTE ] I stopped reading this thread when I hit this sentence.... I'm sure you guys have pounded it to death, but HYACHACHACHA.. Folding here PF is redonkulous and weak like a tube sock is limp! |

Re: TT - Argh!
Going through different streets is important. But could we please now move on to the flop and turn play. Money is made postflop, in most cases.
Call/cap flop ? Bet/fold turn as played ? Check/? if we just call the 3bet. |

Re: TT - Argh!
I'm not ready to fold an overpair on this flop just yet. I don't mind a cap here but I just know I'm going to hate the turn when I cap guys with draws so it is probably a hole in my game.
Turn isn't my favorite card since a big obvious draw just got there. A better read would get me to fold this but against an unknown I'm calling down unless another overcard or heart hits the river. |

Well, Rikus point was a bit more subtle: You have an overpair. Overpairs that beat you are JJ, QQ, KK, AA, each of those making 0.5% of someone's pfr rage. AKo by itself makes 0.9%. [/ QUOTE ] this is pretty misleading. there is only a 0.5% chance of villain having JJ if he raises 100% of his hands. otherwise, JJ makes up a significantly larger percentage of his range. |

Re: TT - Argh!
riku,
i am in the "3betting pf is obvious, raising the flop is obvious, don't cap the flop but meh if you do" camp. |

Re: TT - Argh!
I've looked at the hand a couple times and I'm cool with it. Flop cap is enh. I don't love it and I don't hate it. rest of the hand is fine. Good job. When will we see you at .50/1?

Re: TT - Argh!
Mostly grunched.
I don't like the flop cap. Slow down, call when the button wakes up. But yeah, it's not incredibly horrible. Since you did cap, rest is fine. Folding TT PF in this situation is weak sauce. |
