Finally someone else that realizes how awesome 40 yr old virgin is also a glaring omission (not sure how many vote it would have gotten) Little Miss Sunshine.

Well, Caddyshack is number one, Blazing Saddles is number 2. I'm amazed Spinal Tap an Life of Brian aren't there, but what the hey.
Okay, there are 3 movies tied for the last spots, but only 2 can go through. So here's a revote. 1 vote only, open for the next 36 hours: |

If this were OOT I might believe differently, but I'm sure tl;dr will recognize that Office Space, while being a funny movie, is way out of its league here. I predict a serious buttwhoopin' for it. Tough call after that, very tough. Gonna have to hang with my Yank brethren and go Airplane. Hurts though.

How Caddyshack is winning is beyond me. I like the movie, but it can't hold a candle to Airplane!
Dumb and Dumber and Blazing Saddles are funnier, too. |

I don't think I've ever seen Monty Python all the way through . I feel bad not voting for it because everyone tells me that it's a classic and one of the best comedies ever.
I forgot to list my votes - Animal House Blazing Saddles Dumb and Dumber 40 Year Old Virgin Meet The Parents Honestly, Blazing Saddles is probably the best comedy. But my favorite is Dumb and Dumber. Also, 40 Yr Old Virgin is a hell of a good movie. I just watched it for the 4th time and found myself cracking up all over again. |

For what it's worth I voted:
Manhattan - unbelievably the only Woody Allen choice (I think Carter intentionally misspelled it to skew the voting) High Fidelity - I have seen this on about a dozen occaisions and loved it every time Slapshot - I blame Canada Uncle Buck - A John Candy classic (I blame Canada again) Withnail and I - perhaps too dark a choice for some but incredibly funny nonetheless I have no problem with anything Monty Python or Caddyshack. I easily could have voted for them but figured they would do fine without me. Also would not have minded Young Frankenstein getting in. Happy to see Borat didn't make it. Hopefully the low water mark in humour (doubtfull though) I wouldn't want to have to watch that again to participate in the discussion. |

I am frankly shocked how poorly South Park is doing, and that Team America isn't even on the list. [/ QUOTE ] |
