Re: Hard Rock Casino, Tampa FL
[ QUOTE ]
i heard a rumor from the sun cruz dealer that the hard rock is getting mid-high limit and NL cash games. please tell me if this is true or not! 'cause that would be awesome. [/ QUOTE ] I have heard several rumors floating around recently about this as well. All from credible sources. The Hard Rock is supposed to have a massive hiring on January 1st, which is extremely rare for them. I think they're sending some of their already trained dealers into blackjack and hiring more poker dealers. The Seminole Tribe has already obtained a level 3 gaming license which means blackjack, table games, and bigger limits for poker. It might mean spread limit cash games instead of no limit cash games, but that would be fine for obvious reasons. However, do not be surprised if this happens sometime after the new year... |

Re: Hard Rock Casino, Tampa FL
thanks strife. i didn't realize they had already gotten the level 3 license, although i had heard they were petitioning for it. NL would be awesome, but higher limit games would be fine with me too. the sun cruz dealer said a friend of his that deals at the hard rock had been getting training to deal higher limit and NL games. if anyone hears any more about this please post it. i'm crossing my fingers and praying.

Re: Hard Rock Casino, Tampa FL
Well the first Class 3 slots opened about 10 days ago in S.Florida, the Indian tribes are petitioning to have the same gaming opp. per the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.
The Regulatory Act, allows equal Class 3 gaming for Indians to the equal of any other gaming in the state, the laws passed down south were for Class 3 slots only as far as I know. I don't know that they would be brazen enough to start spreading higher limits and putting in table games, I think they just want to get those Class 3 slots. At this point they are already power playing by erecting a mini Class 3 slot parlor on their land down south. I think this is all going to land in Charlie Crists lap and some believe that even though he is against gambling expansion in the state as his election platform, many believe he is going to fold on this stance once in office. |
