I would cry if US soccer won the world cup.

I cried in '91 when Duke finally won its first basketball championship.

I got a little misty in '94 when the Houston Rockets finally won the NBA title.

I got a lump in my throat in '04 when the Houston Astros finally made it to the World Series.

I think I'm getting jaded in my old age.

If the Astros won the WS, though, Niagara Falls.

Amazingly I didn't cry when 'Cuse won in '03; I just screamed a lot and woke up my apt building.
If the Bills ever win it'd probably be the same thing. I did get a little watery when NFL films did a special on Buffalo and everything the Bills mean to the city w/ interview clips of Tim Russert.
I guess I'm a sucker for storytelling but I don't really have tears of joy.

On a side note, i almost punched the TV when the Rangers won and i was just 13. I think i hate the Rangers more then any other pro franchise including the Yankees.

This annoys the hell out of me too. It bothers me when fans do it but it really bothers me when athletes talk about bringing home a world championship in an interview. ugh.
