yeah definitely, which is why I don't like checking the turn, I like betting small either for value or to induce a raise, I mean if we call and then lead smallish on a 2 turn do we think he's folding JJ/AT? If so then I guess check and v-bet river

Why is this not a c/r ai on turn or 3/4 pot sized value bet on river if he checks behind on turn. We stack off to 10 10. play a mid sized pot/stack Kx. I do not think I am folding here ever.

GRUNCH:

I start by calling flop. if he has a K the money's going in on the turn or the river anyway. If he's bluffing he might follow up on the turn. he's also likely to fold a mediocre made hand if we raise (eg.) a draw is either heavily dominated or a gutshot, so i don't think we need to protect much against it.

that leaves us with an $84 pot on the flop with another $140 behind. I might make a 1/2PSB bet on the turn, or a C-C, push RIV

I hate calling and leading turn...it just lets an aggressive player give up on his bluff. Donking the turn small also lets him call and call river without us getting all the money in if he has a hand like KJ.

Either 3-bet the flop to like 55 and reverse yeti him, or call and make a decision on the turn. If he bets small I prob call and then check/call his river push. If he bets enough that he wont think he has enough FE to continue his bluff on the river then I just c/r the turn.

I honestly don't think if villain checked the turn, he would ever be raising the river with worse.
