I worked with a crazy [censored] this summer who spent a couple years in the pen. He always said if you're gonna get in a fight, throw the first punch, and hit them right in the nose. His claim was if you break the nose the person will freak out from the blood, and the pain is pretty intense. He said if you can do that you pretty much won the fight.

If you're using a rod though I would think the adams apple would be best.

I'd say chin if you had to punch him, temple if you get an extendo staff.

The chin with as much force as I can put into it.

do you guys really think mike tyson has never taken one to the chin? he would laugh, then eat you(and any offspring you may have produced).

[/ QUOTE ]

Same can be said about every other part of him. Obviously it is hard for us to knockout Mike Tyson.

I do think a punch is out of the question as far as a knockout here goes. However, what about a full crack with the rod? Those things can do massive damage from what I hear and have seen. I saw some cop hit a drunk college kid in the head with one once and blood was everywhere. Dude instantly hit the ground and they took him away on a stretcher. That being said, the cop was a pretty big guy who could swing it fairly hard, and the college kid wasnt Tyson. I do think a decent swing of a telescopic rod would however render the vast majority of guys unconscious.

Tyson's brain (presumably) reacts the same way to trauma as most other humans. Snap someone's head violently in one direction and it impacts against the skull, which can cause a knockout. Why do you think they teach boxers to keep their gloves up?

No doubt. I don't remember it ever being that painful but if you get it just right, the amount of blood loss is incredible.

You'd rather cop a manslaughter charge than lose a fight? Am I missing some sarcasm? If not, that is white-trash logic.

[/ QUOTE ]

Number 1 and 2 interact dynamically. If the only fights you ever get into are the ones that are impossible to run away from or avoid, then the fights that you get into are going to be fairly serious situations.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ahh, I see. I also missed the word "risk".

I highly highly doubt more than 10% of you guys could knock out mike tyson with a punch (not nightstick) to the chin, Ive taken tons of punches to the chin/face, and I am def no mike tyson, Ive never been knocked out, its fairlyl tough to get knocked out from a single punch to the jaw/chin. The larynx is the best, because its fairly easy to incapacitate someone, and then run, with the temple, if you miss, you are [censored], as someone said you and your offspring will get eaten.

Lennox Lewis for one hit him repeatedly with extremely hard shots that effed up his face completely but really didn't faze him that much. I bet I could knock Roy Jones Jr. the [censored] out though.
