Is Binion's still running their normal tournaments during the Classic?

The 6-max event last night had 234. Down a bit although that is probably to be expected for a 6-max event.

How are the 10am and 2am tournies during this? Are they getting decent turnouts? Are they still going on?

Here is a link with the schedule of the Binion's Poker Classic. It has a note at the bottom that, if I'm reading it correctly, says the normal 2:00 pm tournament isn't running Monday-Friday, but all the other normal dailies are (including the 2:00 pm on weekends). Don't remember the number of entries in the 2:00pm yesterday, but believe the 8:00 had 70-80 entries. No idea how that compares to the norm.

An amusing story from yesterday. I ran into a friend who introduced me to a guy named Andy who (if I got my facts correct) is a dealer at Binion's who won the WSOP Casino Employees event a few years ago - was wearing his bracelet to prove it. He was shortstacked in the 2:00 and, based on that, had run over and bought into the Binion's Classic 6-max thinking he'd soon be eliminated. Then he started his comeback in the 2:00 and at the first break in the 6-max was still alive in both. He'd only played 2 or 3 hands in the 6-max thus far. He ended up in a 13 way chop in the 2:00. Average stack was, IIRC, 5-6bbs at that point.

I've never been up for the 2am one, but the 10am is getting a few tables, and the 8pm one gets many (8-10) when I've been there.
