You will need to .NET Framework version 1.1 to run this - once you have the framework installed you can copy the file in the zip whereve you want and run it.

[/ QUOTE ]Is there a link to the ROI simulator yet?

Looks great. Maybe we can get Cit to mention this in the FAQ. It's probably helpful to look at something like this when you're on a bad downswing.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sounds good to me.

You can actually use it to calculate lots of things besides SNG's as well. For example, want to see how you'll do betting #32 on the roulette wheel long term?

Set Buy-In to $1
1st = $36 and % to 2.63% (1/38)
all other results should be $0 and 0%
Set simulations = 10000 and Games per Sim = 1000

So we are seeing how you will do in a 1000 spin session:

Looks like a 32% chance to come out ahead.

How would you then adjust this to 6 max sit n go's?

This looks great, only problem is I can't get it to work.

My PC tries to load it in Acrobat format?!

I've downloaded the .net file

FYI cause it happened to me: If you're getting an error when you try to run the sim, get the SP1 update to the .NET framework.

edit: apparently it can't accept cents in the payout structure.

Wow... really? Acrobat? I have never heard of that ever happening. Do you get a certain error message? Does this happen after you have downloaded it or does acrobat come up when you try to download it?

All you need to be concerned with is payout structure and percent chance to finish in each paying position. So, if it is a $55 6 man SNG and first pays 70% and second 30% and you have a 20% chance of coming in first and a 20% chance of coming in second you would set it up like this:

Buyin = 55
1st = $210 and 20%
2nd = $90 and 20%

Everything else should be 0. By the way, those numbers are just examples - I have no idea what the payout is for a 6 man SNG so adjust accordingly.
