I think that is Hellmuthian math, and to back up my statement, I will lay you 25:1 against your $1K right now on that proposition. I hesitate to do this because of the motivation it provides you, but I'll suck it up and make the offer anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]

Done if you are willing to send the 25k to someone like El Diablo right now so that I know I will get paid.

Edit: I'll send the 1k too of course.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've PMed El D to see if he is a willing escrow agent. So we're dead clear, I'm laying you 25 to 1 on $1K. You win if you finish first in the 2007 CardPlayer POY race. I win otherwise.

BTW, I realize I'm handicapping your chances at a little less than 4% here, but that's to compensate you for the insult to your math skillz.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just so I'm clear,

1) Stick the 25k in an interest-bearing account of some sort.

2) ???????

3) Profit (close to 1k)

isn't a better option, why?

I presume that El D would put our collective $26K into an interest-bearing account and the winner takes the interest as well; that is what I did on the McClain prop.

Guys,

"I presume that El D would put our collective $26K into an interest-bearing account and take the interest and a hefty fee as well;"

I'll decide whether or not I want to be in the middle of this and get in touch with you guys today.

seems fair, but hoawrd, u [censored] up my bet against ZJ.

I doubt this will act as some sort of rejuvinator for u justin, but on eof the reasosn why I took top 5 guys from last year is because they are all animals who play every single event for a few years now and I doubted you would actually do that after a few months on the road. Plus the top 5 from last year (maybe not madsen) are really solid tourney donks.

El D, you can keep the interest as your fee.

The escrow agent doesn't have to be El Diablo. He was just the first name that came to mind.

Bellagio tournaments start on 4/7, and the results of those first few tourneys will greatly affect my willingness to bet, so let's try to get this bet put down before then.
