Re: Bots from Viet Nam in party SNG\'s
They're not bots. If you take too long to play, they all start typing "DIDI MAO! DIDI MAO!" at you.

Re: Bots from Viet Nam in party SNG\'s
Here is a more detailed post from the STT forum
[ QUOTE ] I was researching these players and stumbled upon this thread. There is no doubt these players are bots. What I know: In addition to the players already mentioned, these players should be added (all Vietnam, never on thesame tables, blahblahblah): thirdGenPoker HiR3d_GuN POKERchamCOM Mi_SniP3R LifeAfter10_11 SISLEYGANG SeDiTion__ So the list looks like this: thirdGenPoker ReliGiOusDad HiR3d_GuN SpeCiAl____ SeDiTion__ Mi_SniP3R POKERchamCOM Lube_Al_Anal BandFriendWifePhobia Honda1975 LifeAfter10_11 SISLEYGANG The spelling patterns send up an immediate flag. You'd think they'd go for some more subtlety... Now, here is this weeks weekly leaderboard (as related to these players): Rank Player Points 1 Honda1975 5322.0 2 BangFriendWifePhobia 5252.0 3 ReliGiOuSDad 4730.0 6 Lube_Al_Anal 3812.0 9 SpeCiAl___ 3468.0 11 SISLEYGANG 3209.0 13 HiR3d_GuN 3024.0 14 thirdGenPoker 2997.0 17 LifeAfter10_11 2735.0 Nine of the twenty names are all players from Nam, all of which NEVER play at the same tables. Moreover, they span all of the limits. ReligiousDad, for example, plays both the 22's and the 215's; who the hell does that? They jump on whichever tables are about to fire off; tables where their 'friends' are not already waiting. I don't know how many Vietnamese players party has, but other than these, throughout 3 years of playing on party, I've only run into five others max. Their results go beyond coincidence. I have over 100 tournaments with some of them, and numerous heads-up matches (and I just returned to party a week ago). I bombard them with abuse, timeout purposely, [censored] up my betting patterns, and they remain stoic and consistent. Yeah, it could be a group of 15 V.C.'s sweat-shopping out SNG's in a generator-powered jungle hut, but it's unlikely. More likely, it's one or two guys who figured out a work-around for the U.S. ban, and go in through a Vietnamese server. As someone mentioned, Vietnam's internet and power situation is not world-leading. They would have the occasional disconnect, and these bastards never do - despite playing 18hours/day. I reported all this [censored] to Party, along with a ton of other evidence, and they're "looking into it"...bastards. If it was Stars, it would get resolved. But Party treats its players like bar whores; disposable and filthy rotten. [/ QUOTE ] |

[ QUOTE ] I really really doubt a bot could be anywhere near profitable at a $215 NL sng. [/ QUOTE ] LOL... seriously, why would you say something like that? [/ QUOTE ] there are like 4 levels you could possibly be on. We're definitely not on the same one. Go up or down one, then we can re-evaluate. |

Do you realize how easy it is to program responses in chat? Anything chat-related is not going to give you evidence that the player is not a bot. They may even hire people to sit there and chat and click the pop-up bot checkers. |

Re: Bots from Viet Nam in party SNG\'s
As American as their names are and with the evidence seen so far I would have to agree that they are U.S. bots that have a way to use a foreign I.P. address
