How about if it is my opponents' decision, and there is more than one opponent? Can I go all in and expose my cards before either of them has acted?

Uhhh... That's a little weird, yes, but I do think I agree it's doing no more harm to one than another. So *I* am ok with it. But I imagine some poker floors have troubles with this and it surely violates the letter of the rules. If someone asked if he could play one card face up every hand, I doubt if the floor would ok it, though if I were at the table I'd be thrilled to have it happen.

Say an early position raiser gets called by MP. I have aces in late position, push all-in and expose my hand. I suppose the two players already in the pot have a disadvantage to everyone who hasn't put any moey in the pot, but otherwise it seems like everyone has an equal footing.

Why would I want to do this? Because I have tremendously bad luck with aces. I want them just to fold when they see the aces and I'll be happy with the pot as is. I probably should just fold them whenever I get them and be money ahead, but I don't seem to be able to do it.

I'm sure you're leveling.

I think in the situation that pig4bill said, the Aces would have to remain in play in your hand as you exposed them and not the dealer, had a situation like this the other day where I raise to $25 pf, MP raises to $75 and late position player goes all in for ~$250. While im thinking about calling with JJ, MP calls and both flip their cards not realising that I still have to act, needless to say I was allowed to fold my cards after seeing their AA and QQ respectively.

As long as you are heads up you can show your face cards while contemplating a call as long as its in a cash game and not a tourney.

Then how can you not understand that exposing your cards with multiple action left is not OK? Even if you have AA. You haven't taken into account stack sizes and possible side pots between the two (or more) other players who now have very significant knowledge. You're a long time, respected poster here too so I really assumed you were leveling.

It's not angling, and in most rooms it's fine if you're heads up in a cash game. However, you better make damn sure what the house rule is before you do this, or you may wind up dead (well, your hand that is, unless it's texas). In almost all houses you will at least be penalized if you do this in tournies.

Everyplace in Tuncia (during a cash game) you can turn your cards over.

Why do you say that? I actually pride myself on making very good initial reads after showing my hands if I have to decide on making a big call. And over the past 3 or 4 years, when I've kept track of this I've been right about 80% of the time when I've gone with my first read and not tried to out think myself. Granted, it doesn't happen very often but it's a good skill to know and I believe it comes from playing poker for a ling time.
