In this case though, it's one of those situations that is pretty ghey... I mean, I'm looking fairly strong; in his mind my range is probably like T8 a good chunck of the time, 86 sometimes, T9/T7 sometimes, a slowplayed set sometimes, and just random one pair hands or pure floats gone turn CRs.

That is why it's so borderline and I'm asking you guys what kind of frequency you do it with, or that I should do it with. It's pretty hard for you guys to give definite answers, I know, just looking for some feedback because sometimes calling three streets like this, ESPECIALLY when I know he'll pot value any overcard if he makes a pair (he's got AK and the river is either of them, he pots and now I have that- "is he bluffing the over as often as he's betting the made TPTK" dillemma).

REVERSE IMPLIED ODDS, for this reason i lead flop, lead turn, and if villan is still in pot i check river an call/fold deppenin on situation.

I think that it's soo hard to play out of position by just callin, i have to bet. 100% of time.

Yea, sometimes you nits can fold it hu, but Q9 is way too good against his opening range and he's potting like 85% of flops.

Yea I gotta call a shove, would be getting like 6 to 1

If you're behind, you're a 7.8:1 dog, if all 5 of your outs are live, a 13.7:1 dog if you only have 3, 21:1 with only 2, and you could easily be drawing dead.

He has to be putting it in with the worst hand here a pretty significant amount of the time for the call to be +EV, if you ignore metagame stuff.

I'm curious if you can come up with a range where a call here is +EV, even getting 6:1.

I'll be honest, I didn't think about it.

But seriously, I would just never fold here becuase I think he can have 89 or 78 sometimes, since I can have air.

Also, metagame wise, I would need to see his hand, there was no way I Was folding.

Those that like it:

Is there any reason you like his raise size better than a shove?

How often do you expect to get called by a worse hand?

You don't get called by a worse hand besides the two we have all agreed upon.

I think I probably shove an overpair or a set here, so yeah, I'm probably against the river raise size.
