Ceasars Palace, $65 buy in [/ QUOTE ] That's not entirely accurate. There's also a $15 Admin Fee, so it's really $80 to buy in. |

Re: Best daily Vegas tournament for low rollers?? (under 70.00 entry fee)
[ QUOTE ]
Last summer i played 4 tourneys at the STRATOSPHERE...there are 4 a day..2 of them are 30 plus 20 add on or rebuy...and 2 of them are 50 plus one 40 add on or rebuy..stucture was ok...Play was horrendous.. i played the 50 plus 40 and never added on or rebought because i was chipped up from the awful play...(its not a good investment mathematically a lot of the times cause the pool usually gets chopped) chopped 3 out of the 4 tourneys for an average of 500 each.. [/ QUOTE ] I think the Strat changed the buy-in's and tournament times.. Now they do 4 a day, and the buy-in is 60 bucks for 4000 chips.. They do it at 9am, 1pm, 8pm and Midnight.. |

Re: Best daily Vegas tournament for low rollers?? (under 70.00 entry

[ QUOTE ] I'm going to be in Vegas all this week and next week. I'm wondering where the best daily low entry fee tournament is held at. I have a car so it can be anywhere in town. I read that Saraha and Planet Hollwood are the best, but I'm wondering if anyone knows somewhere else. I'm pretty much looking for a decent structure. I know for 70 bucks the casino is racing to kick you out, but I'm guessing some places are better then others. [/ QUOTE ] Ill give you the answer your looking for since no one seems to have a CLUE that there is a $30 at the Luxor atleast once a day (in the am). ANSWER THE MANS QUESTION DUDES!!LOL [/ QUOTE ] If that's the same tournament I'm thinking of, you get like 250 chips, and an add on for 50 more. Ugh. Of course, that was, like, two years ago. |

ANSWER THE MANS QUESTION DUDES!!LOL [/ QUOTE ] Besides the fact that you probably missed one of his points, "a decent structure" Since when is 350 starting chips a decent structure? Are you sure you have a CLUE? The Luxor tournament is horrible, people shouldn't play it so management gets the idea that the structure stinks. |

I think the Stratosphere tourneys are great for the buy-in and the play is okay. I've played quite a few of them and if you're aggressive you will do just fine, very passive play. Good luck!!!

Re: Best daily Vegas tournament for low rollers?? (under 70.00 entry fee)
There's this tourney at Tuscany on Flamingo. 25 dollar buy in gets you 1500 in chips with a add on at the beginning for 10 dollars which gets you an extra 1000. I play in this tourney 4 times a week and its a goldmine. It is a rebuy so you have alot of donks giving away chips. Its really easy to win a n ice little bit. 1st is usually around 1200 or 1500. Not bad for 35 dollars.

The Planet Hollywood tournaments tend to be a decent value. The tournament staff is somewhat inexperienced but they try hard to run a decent small tournament,

Re: Best daily Vegas tournament for low rollers?? (under 70.00 entry fee)
My wife and I are headed to LV December 10-14. Based on the comments here it looks like the PH tournaments are closest to what we're looking for.
Anyone know if there's a chance at getting any kind of poker rate there if you're only playing 2-4 tournaments per day? If not, we have a reservation at Harrah's for $35/night so it's not too big a deal, but I thought I'd ask anyway. |
