I played the 20-40 a ton in 2003-2004 at Foxwoods and the games were not 'great' - decent enough for east coast. Borgata blew it away. 100 time more action and worse players.

Then I spent time in Cali... um... yeah. Commerce, Bay 101... all I can say is look out. I was involved in a $2400 pot at 20-40 with outs to the nut flush on river and missed. Very next hand I took down a $1500 pot with j22 flop and me with JJ...

Obviously the swings can be killer, but the Cali games are still the best in the country.

Haven't been to the East coast in quite some time so not sure if anything has changed.

Unfortunately I am now stuck in no mans land for poker - Michigan. 3 casinos and 20-40 goes once or twice a week. 15-30 rotation same thing. 5-10 no limit biggest game really. So sad.
