Re: Does anybody else dislike the Colbert Report???
I don't watch Colbert on a daily basis whatsoever but when I'm flipping through the tube and see it on I'll watch it. I don't find him super hilarious or anything but he does amuse me enough to keep my attention, which is pretty rare these days for me.

Re: Does anybody else dislike the Colbert Report???
I think both Colbert and Stewart are very funny for guys who have to do it 5 days a week and can't overlap on each other to much.

Just think of how crappy most sitcoms are, and they are 30 minutes once a week and are written more than a day in advance. |

I really enjoy his show and think that his showing being after the daily show really shows how horrible Jon Stewart's show is becoming. [/ QUOTE ] I honestly think its the opposite. After watching Stewart's show, it is almost impossible to watch The Colbert Report. |

Re: Does anybody else dislike the Colbert Report???
Dislike? No, though I'm don't really care for it. He has a few really good things, the best is "the word" and "threatdown".
It's just a one trick pony though and I get tired of it. I enjoy the daily show very much still. The opening bit is still great as always and the interviews haven't changed. The in between bits have lost something over the years. Lewis Black is good, and I love almost anything with John Hodgman, but a lot of the other ones are lame. |
