Re: How spewey is this? 5/10
the marginal advantage we gain by having about 3 additional outs is [censored] outweighed by the fact that we dont have FE on this flop. if you like to get in here, you must obv like to get it in on any flop. therefore, the flop does not seem to matter.

Re: How spewey is this? 5/10
i usually refer to FE when talking about villain folding a hand where his optimal play is other than folding and we therefore gain in equity.

If the preflop call was justified this is certainly a board we have to get our money in.

please make up a flop (exlclude flopped trips and facecard twopairs) on which you wouldnt want to get your money in and why.

Re: How spewey is this? 5/10
Unless he's mega aggro, isn't this the type of flop he would check-fold when he misses? I'd prefer this on a dryer flop say J-7-2 that he is MUCH more likely to c-bet. But with such a low, connected flop where he can expect you to call or shove with alot of hands, i doubt he is c-betting very liberally. I could be wrong though, depending on the villain. I can only see him folding hands we are already ahead of.

Re: How spewey is this? 5/10
I would prefer to have a lil more outs. 6 outs isnt very good, ur pretty fooked if called. Should have least 8-10.

Re: How spewey is this? 5/10
[ QUOTE ]
i think this is fine vs some regs of course you won't fold an overpair (well, maybe 88 or something, MAYBE) but the point is that he won't have one most of the time because he is threebetting so often. this is factored into the preflop call and if you are going to call preflop you have to slide this flop. it's up to you to determine whether he is threebetting light enough for you to want to take this course of action but if he is then this is fine. [/ QUOTE ] honestly, to anyone who replied "hes not folding an overpair here" well NO [censored] |

[/ QUOTE ] Well that is not neccessarily a terrible thing, if his range is mainly overs/air. But i don't think it is on a board texture like this, unless he's a pretty laggy/spewy. |
