I assume we are all wrong in our assessment of this situation and you won a ton of money on this hand...

And after RR preflop, not leading here is pretty bad too.

Re: 50NL - Taking on the bully
Isn't this exactly the type of play LAG players want to encourage? If he is any good, he would get out before the pot gets to large if he only has marginal holdings. His stats don't look like complete maniac play, so this hand looks like a failure to adjust to his style.
Just wait for a solid overpair or TPGK and value bet/induce bluffs. This hand is likely exactly what he was trying to achieve with a LAG image. |

[/ QUOTE ] In general there has been some good feeback, however, there is a difference between LAG and raise 100% of all unopened pots OTB, pot flop, pot turn type of play. Re: 50NL - Taking on the bully
jc - if you can give some examples of his maniac play, I think that would help us better w/ advice.
If he consistently puts massive pressure on flop and turn then I can see your play having merit, but w/o those examples, I think what people say here are justified. |

Re: 50NL - Taking on the bully
For the sake of brevity and to generate a few responses, I had mentioned that villain was running over the table.
In more detail: Villain raised 100% of the pots folded around to him (in the last 45min - 1 hr) in the CO or OTB and double barrelled to win most of his pots on the turn or with a standard C-bet. Bet sizes were 3/4 pot or pot sized in genreal. I appreciate all the repsonses. Regards, Carl |

Re: 50NL - Taking on the bully
I don't think you can beat much here, I don't think I would be pushing here into someone who will most likely call with any Kx and maybe even JJ-QQ
