Re: My first stab at an Adsense & click arbitrage website
your ads are positioned poorly. you have to scroll past the content to get to them. move them to the right side of the layout so they are visible when you're reading the content.

Seriously??? It's hard to imagine there's that many suckers out there. Impressive. Can you refer me to one of these sites? I'd like to take a look at one to see what they look like. Thx in advance. Re: My first stab at an Adsense & click arbitrage website
Example 3 is one that John21 should take a look at (or anyone doing adsense).
Notice how the honda pictures to the left of the ads draw your eyes and attention to the ads? I bet that site has a great CTR. So what you do is you take a look at what ads your site is showing and find images that go along with the title text of most ads. For John21 he'll probably want to use golf clubs, maybe a guy in a backswing, a ball on a tee, etc.. |

You'd probably just get warned, but probably not worth risking your Adsense account over. |

Re: My first stab at an Adsense & click arbitrage website
Thanks for all the input and advice.
I've played around with some ad placement, but I'm really not getting a good flowing look. I'm building a site for another project and I started the layout by thinking about where to place the ads first - seems to be easier that way. I might end up back on the drawing board with this site. Live and learn I guess. Anyway, thanks again for the help. |

Yeah, it was just banned recently - like in the past month or so.

Putting images next to (or above) your adsense ads like in the example 3 link above.
