Everyone runs bad. It helps if you're over-rolled. Actually I've found this to be the most effective method of tilt-prevention. Try it if you havn't already - it really helps me at least. And not raising (or looking hard for reasons not to raise) this river for value is almost certainly an instance of tilt resulting from your poor run. Move down to where you have 30 buyins+ if you havn't already. It may decrease your EV a little but it should help immensely psychologically. I know that my game improved a lot when I tried it.

he bets turn a lot with a straight no? And river bet size is POT, do you really think that villans at 50NL are this incompetient to bet pot on the river with a straight?

[/ QUOTE ]

Absolutely, people will PSB here with the straight. I don't even find it incompetent. Sets will still call.

Your boat CRUSHES the range here.

Honestly, I find your preflop a bit loose, and you didn't have stats on others. So it's hard to see QT which is the only hand that beats you that make sense. QJ should have raised again on the flop.

I hope you didn't fold.

Nah I pushed and he flipped QT, IMO the only other boat that makes sense.

Just the same as KK vs AA. Shrug and move on.

I find his preflop play a bit odd to end up with QT here, but as I posted, it's the only logical hand that beats you.

Push was good.

Raise the flop to $9.5 and obvious shove on the river.
