why don't you play freerolls to try to win $. it seems like a more noble way than selling play money chips.

i won a 2589 person freeroll on UB a couple months back and got $10. you could do that.

Actually, now that I think about it, selling playchips is far more logical than playing freerolls. Seriously, it might be difficult to place top 27 out of 10K players and then turn around and make a score in the $1,000 guaranteed that follows. Typically you lose, and even if you win, you get something like a buck or two and simply lose it. All that work for nothing.

However, play money you have an infinite bankroll and you only have to play like a complete nit. Eventually you hit a million and get some money guaranteed. Then again, once 1 million is hit you could probably make it to like 10 million , or even 100 million, pretty quickly. and that would be like $70 to $100 bucks.

Better still, get like 1 billion playchips, play in the biggest play money games in the world, and earn an awesome $50 a week doing so. Instant balla status!

Anywho, I actually won my bankroll by turning that $2.00 in freeroll money over anyhow, though I still am only at $50+ currently...

Question though, where the hell do you go to sell the playchips?

OP post a hand history and I will donate 10k in play chips on stars. You could have 100k on bodog, but neteller does not do play chip transfers any more.

There are several pages where you can buy and sell play money chips, www.bigbadbullets.com for instance pays $10 per million.

And yes, there are indeed "High Stakes Play Money" players out there...

Can you transfer play chips to another player on Poker Stars, or would he be selling his account?

can't you just find like $10 in change on the ground? How about you wash cars for $1 a car...You will get your $10 way faster than trying to make 1 million play chips.

Are people really so broke they can't get together $10?

I think it is like $7 - $10. The big question is why do people buy them?

What tickles me is not selling the play money, but the delusion that $10 is going to last more than 5 minutes in a .20/.50 Omaha H/L game.
