Everyone saying it wasn't a penalty, get a [censored] clue [/ QUOTE ] If that was a penalty then there should have been about 6 penalties in the game. At every corner arsenal could have had a penalty for stuff a lot worse then jumping for a 50/50 ball. At least justice was done |

lol. They're should be about ten penalties a game in italy and spain but the defenders are allowed to get away with a lot of stuff that is outside of the rules.

Re: Arsenal v Villareal
I compare this call to the call that decided the Nets/Pacers game one at the end of the game. By the book, you could probably call a penalty there, but you just don't make that call when it will decide the game, especially when the same sort of foul goes uncalled probably 90% of the time.
In addition you could see his legs hilariously crumble like that statue in the MLB steroids commericial at what was relatively minor contact. But hey, that's part of the game. |

If it is a foul (and it is since the defender decided it was a good idea to go through Jose Mari to get the ball) then just call the damn thing and don't be afraid to be criticized PS: 1st minute, 90th minute, same rules |

Everyone saying it wasn't a penalty, get a [censored] clue [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. I've seen worse fouls go unpunished, but that WAS a foul and it WAS a penalty. Plus karma owed them a penalty from the first leg. With that said, Jose Mari is a notorious diver, and the look on his face after the penalty was awarded said it all. "Hehehe... I got em." |
