I guess you were offended by my comments in the other thread that most people play more than 3 tables. In general I usually just post what I would do in a hand and a brief explanation... even if I did write multiple paragraph explanations you would still say I suck probably, so whatever. |

Re: Deep set
I think you have to get it in here, one way or another, but it's not exactly a fistpump situation.
18/17's putting in 150BB with AK or some [censored] against a tag that isn't folding doesn't seem especially likely. The fact that it's BB vs SB does help, though. |

2.5/5 [/ QUOTE ] Who are you? (If you are playing where I think you are you probably know who I am) Also, stop being a vag and get the money in somewhere. EDIT: Forgot there are a couple sites that spread 2.5/5 (as opposed to 2/5). If none of this means anything to you just ignore me. |

Re: Deep set
Not unexpected that most of you want to get it in, and I dont say you are right or wrong, however, IF I gonna get it in I think c/r river is best.
Leading river strong and folding to a raise is an option too, or bet/call river. But I think in order to bet river I have to make it at least 550 and be able to fold to a push. Some reasons why I took the line and if any or some of these circumstances was different I probably try to get it in somewhere: 1. We are almost 3 buy-ins deep, 290bb 2. We have not been tangled with eachother (important) 3. The board is ace high, he cannot have an overpair. Also the ace is of clubs so he cannot have something like AK or AQ of clubs with top pair + nut flush draw playing that strongly. 4. He had been playing tight and I had not seen him raising from the blinds, so I think his range is pretty much AK, AQ, AJs, high or medium PP, maybe KQs, I dont think A6, A4 or 64 (suited or not) is in his range. I really dont like c/r turn because then he will most likely fold every thing I beat (AK etc.) and push AA or 66 (or call and get in in on river). If you think I am off here an explaining why is very welcome, "ZOMG I HAVE A SET JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES AND TRY TO GET IT IN" is not the explanation I want because I really think this isnt a hand like that. |
