Re: Professional No-Limit Holdem: Volume 1 - Question
Looks like they'll be expanding on the concepts presented in NLTAP and adding quite a bit more to the "observing other players" part that seems to get skipped over in most books.

[ QUOTE ] LOL @ Triskaidekaphobia ! 50 Sklansky Bucks to anyone who knows what that means! [/ QUOTE ] A quick google search gives "An abnormal fear of the number 13". Maybe its a reference to top pair being tricky to play if SPR is 13 or greater? Certainly intriguing... [/ QUOTE ] If there's a pot-sized bet on all three streets, then each player will put in 13x the preflop pot over the flop, turn, and river combined. Is that where this is coming from? |

Re: Professional No-Limit Holdem: Volume 1 - Question
Are there any stores in LA that are the equivelent to "gamblers general store" in vegas? Meaning will likely get the book very close to the release date?
Am going to be visiting LA for a few weeks right around the books release date, and would love to read it on the vacation. Waiting till I get back to toronto will be agonizing :P |

Re: Professional No-Limit Holdem: Volume 1 - Question
No. Your best bet might be to order it from us and then have it shipped to your LA address. Those will be the first purchasers to get the book.
Best wishes, Mason |

Re: Professional No-Limit Holdem: Volume 1 - Question
Thanks Mason! If I wasn't drooling before, I'm certainly drooling now. I now understand what Ed Miller meant when he said he truly didn't "understand" no-limit until he read this manuscript. This, for me, is the most exciting poker publication I have ever awaited.
