I really don't understand how you CANNOT be a winning player if you have decent knowledge of the game and care about winning and never tilt.

No matter how good or bad you play find a table where the players are worse then you. Stay away from the tables where the players are better then you.

The real answer is this:
Pick a game. Read a book. Play. Lose. Figure out why you lost. Play again, don't make that mistake. Repeat the last three until you win. If you want to play NL Holdem there's some simple advice that can make you a guaranteed marginal winner at low stakes. Don't lose big pots with small pot hands. |
