Blue screen of death + no bootup = prob gonna have to reinstall Windows at the very least...or if you're ballerly inclined can also just buy a new laptop.

But like everyone else said, there's like a 98% chance your HD is fine.

update: went and bought a macbook today. i'll probably try to get my old laptop working and just give it to one of my brothers, but i was pretty frustrated with it and thinking about getting a new one anyway. plus it was funny -- so i postponed the tour i was going to take today until tomorrow, so that i could sort my laptop out today. it turns out today is a national holiday and all of the service centers are closed, except for one place who told me that they could fix it in 4-5 business days (i leave friday). weeeee.

anyway i got like the lowest grade macbook, i figure it'll be fine for travelling, then if i want performance upgrades when i get home i can just do it then.

plus macbooks look so cool.

now im gonna go get some freaking bulgogi and get my goddamn massage. I WANT MY MASSAGE.

Do they have foreign food places in china, like the us has chinese food? Like can you go to an Olive Garden or some Italian restaurant there?

I saw a Papa John's like 3 blocks from my hotel when I was there. It was kinda weird, it stuck out like a sore thumb. Pretty damn good pizza though.
