if you actually re-size your bets each day to meet your revised bankroll size, then it should be zero.

practically speaking, i recommend scaling down to 1%, unless you have plenty of money outside your bankroll from which to draw upon.

yes i do re-size my bets each day to meet by revised bankroll, im just using 2% units till end of this season, ill probably be ok tho right? odds are surely in my favour

Use a kelly or 1/2 kelly system and you will never go broke.

1/2 kelly roughly:
5% edge on you at 100 (versus -110 true line) = 2.5% of bankroll

5% edge on you at -150 (versus -170 true line) = 3.7% of bankroll

5% edge on you at +162 (versus +150 true line) = 1.5% of bankroll

A lotta guys use 1/3 Kelly, some even less.
