Re: What I\'ve Learned.
Great thread, makes me all warm and fuzzy.
I'd like to add one. If you can, tip well, that extra $1-$30 might not mean much to you, but it can make someone elses day. Karma pays. |

[ QUOTE ] You are never unhappy after taking your dog for a walk. [/ QUOTE ] i like this one [/ QUOTE ] I have had three major girlfriends (all loves of my life) and two dogs that I could call my own. ads,
There's really never any point to yelling at or getting angry at someone who has no control over a situation. Simply being polite and acknowledging people in the service industry often pays big dividends in terms of service levels received. |

Re: What I\'ve Learned.
Say yes to basically any question is the best one I've read and it bears repeating. Another way to think about is: always be willing to sacrifice comfort for adventure. Years down the road you'll never remember how poor or tired you were after something, just how much fun it is and how glad you are that you went.

Re: What I\'ve Learned.
If I had done more 'yes' saying through high-school and college I would have ended up in a lot of trouble.
I'm usually up for lots of stuff. But a little judgement goes a long way. So being up for adventure is one thing. Constantly bowing to peer-pressure is another and I wonder if that nugget of insight doesn't stray a bit towards that. |
