I finally got GH and my fking PS2 breaks down.

Why the hell would anyone play on medium or hard once you can play on expert?

Seems like a waste of time seeing as every song is so much easier.

They really need to make this multiplayer, with additional bass guitar and drum controls. And finally, as the piece de resistance, merge this with one of those karaoke games to get LEAD VOCALS into the game. Then, this thing would rule all. Having 4 people in one room jamming out in a video game to Van Halen would either be extremely gay or wickedly awesome. I haven't really decided which yet.

I don't play much of the lesser difficulties anymore, but the harder songs on hard still offer some decent challenge/fun though. Hard is fun because the songs are difficult enough where they can be fun to play, but I have the chance to full combo (100%) many songs.

The main competition in these songs where alot of people can get 100% (all of medium, most of hard & an increasing amount of expert songs) is star power usage. My friend who's ranked very high on score hero is extremely good at devising the best star power paths (fit the most notes in under star power over the course of the song). This is kind of a different aspect of the game, not everyone is willing to do this type of planning/strategizing. I'm kind of indifferent to it, I'll plan out when necessary, but mainly I just use his routes [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I've also thought that they should do this! They have the kareoke style games out and the drum from that goofy donkey kong game could work.

GH2 demo coming out soon in the October issue of OPM - Official Playstation Magazine. Supposed to have 4 songs. Looking forward to picking this up (and of course the full game in November).

Well they do have a cooperative mode now. So you don't have to just go head to head 2 player and switch on and off, one person can play lead and the other backup and that type of stuff
