Oh by the way. In case you didnt know Sparky, the Pistons are going to win it all and the funny part is nobody even realizes it yet. Everybody keeps talking about San Antonio or Phoenix winning it all. Nobody west of the Mississippi understands how great this Piston team is. When the Pistons play San Antonio/Phoenix in the NBA finals, they will win in 4 or 5 games and then the NBA world will understand just how great these Pistons are.

[/ QUOTE ]

What separates the Pistons from the other top NBA teams is their ability to stick the dagger in a team and close out a series.

i agree with sweetjazz. the pistons are the main contender because of how dominant they are at home in series-ending games.

Just a small setback on the way to the championship, though I suppose I'll have to change my location.

Well, if they're using the Tigers as a model, you might want to inform them that losing every game in the final round is probably not a good idea. But seriously, losing a series to a team with 82 regular season wins is no disgrace ... if you're in the NBA.

I know, it's such a shame the way Detroit's NBA and MLB franchises have performed the last few years. I don't know how the fans deal with such mediocrity.
