Default WSOP satellites are up and running at PokerStars

[ QUOTE ]
I'll take the over. *doesn't post today*

Pay the unders; WSOP satellites are up and running. You can read all about them here.

I do need to make one correction: I said that Platinums could use FPPs to buy into the main event. That is not true (and never was). Platinums can buy into preliminary events with FPPs, but only the SuperNovas can buy into the main event with FPPs. You can see the details at our FPP Store Tournament page. I checked and that's exactly the rules we had last year (Platinums for preliminary events, SuperNovas for main event).

Let's go bring home the winner, folks.

Best regards,
Lee Jones

Have you guys received confirmation that your sat-winners will be allowed to wear pokerstars stuff.
Rumors had it that Harrah's was going to stop even the dot-net or any other site logos.

If they do this, will you still give away the extra $1k for hotel or cash?

edit - BTW Lee, thanks as always to your and your cust-serv guys like Scottyy and Sciolist for your frequent and professional participation in these forums.
You don't joke around with the issues that your customers feel are serious making cracks about how much you were golfing on the weekend, etc.
You keep the tone appropriate to the content and question being asked (meaning you are keeping your ridiculous chocolate comments in the appropriate place).

Also great news to hear that you guys are running Stars sats amidst the speculation that you might not be able to.

I won my seat through you guys in 2005 but ended up practically paying for that seat in failed sat attempts on Stars and Bodog in 2006. Ouch.
Maybe I'll get to go again in 2007 through you guys.

Thanks Lee.

As the OP I'd like to point out that my venting in fact originated from the apparent inability (as suggested by Stars' support) for Platinums to buy in for preliminaries.
I'm delighted to read that this will be possible: http://www.pokerstars.com/wsop/faq/#12

As OP you probably need to change the title of this thread.
