heh I just read this thread, thought I would contribute.

Evan is right, seems your philosophy is built around a faulty foundation, also, like El D said, it sounds horribly ineffective.

sorry to hear about your childhood, but I think you should, perhaps, do a little more critical introspection on your beliefs and why you have them.

its more of a statement on how much waste there is in our society that one can live healthily just from other's waste.

also it leaves almost no "eco-footprint" or something. almost no negative impact on the environemnt, and almost no drain on resources.

also it saves money

and its lotsa fun!

eco-footprint statistics are useless garbage. Discuss!

also if picking through trash is lotsa fun perhaps you would be better suited to the job of "sanitation engineer"

I haven't read this entire thread, but if you are seriously eating out of the trash when you don't have to, you're a friggin moron.

Check back with us when you catch something like hepatitis and deal with a chronic bout of fatigue for years. You'll be singing a different tune then.

If in doubt, Google it...

vegans are weird people in my experience. I've actually only know one real live vegan. He had crazy frizzy hair with green highlights, wore purple pants, and rode a pink little girls bike to class. I might be biased.
